Cleaning & Tips
- Easy Cleaning - Wash your Stasher bags, bowls, and stretch lids in the dishwasher or by hand with warm, soapy water. Check the seals to make sure no food is stuck inside.
- Secure Leak-Free Seal - Stretch lids seal best when they are dry. If a lid sticks unusually well to a surface, pull it flat and away parallel to the surface to break the seal, pulling straight up may cause tearing.
- Stains or Odors - Place Stasher in direct sunlight for a few hours to lift stains. For lingering smells, soak in a 50/50 hot water and vinegar mix, or bake on an oven-safe tray at 350°F for 10–15 minutes.
- Sharp Objects - Steer clear of sharp edges and knives. Stasher products are durable, but not indestructible.

We have tried so many options for covering our plates and bowls without plastic wrap. Nothing really worked. We tried the Stasher Stretch Lid 4-Pack and -- game changer! These lids really do fit multiple size plates, bowls and produce. The Husband uses the small size to stretch directly onto his half apple. Love these. Over the holidays I think I used each of these. Small one over a half onion, medium one over a cereal bowl of dip, large one over a platter. I’ve bought another set. Wish I had taken a photo! Every stretch lid was more single use plastic I didn’t use.

These are handy- if you have a bowl that won’t fit the lid right-side up, you can turn it over. It won’t be tight, but that doesn’t matter too much.
