The largest in the lineup, the Stasher 8-Cup Bowl is a reusable way to stash full heads of lettuce or other veggies in the fridge without having to turn to single-use plastic bags or letting your lettuce go limp in a mesh bag. The Stasher Bowl is also easy to clean and totally leak-free (thanks to our patented Pinch-LocⓇ seal!), making it the hassle-free kitchen staple that you’ll always reach for. Use it to microwave big batches of popcorn, store and serve salads, or pack food in bulk for your next camping trip.

Cleaning & Tips
- Easy Cleaning - wash your Stasher bags, bowls, and stretch lids in the dishwasher or hand wash with warm soapy water. Make sure to check the selas to make sure no food has gotten stuck there.
- Protect the Seals - make sure not to turn your Stasher bags and bowls inside out to save the seals over time.
- Stains or Odors - Place your Stasher in direct sunlight for a few hours to remove any stains. Soak your Stasher in a 50/50 hot water and vinegar mixture to get rid of lingering smells, or bake on an oven-safe tray at 350 degrees F for 10-15 minutes for a fresh start.
- Sharp Objects - steer clear from sharp edges and knives, Stasher silicone products are durable, but not indestructible to sharp objects.

We've been using Stasher bags for the past four years for food storage (but not cooking); about 20 bags & bowls of different sizes in total, including two 8-cup bowls like this one I've recently ordered in white (the review picture defaulted to a green bowl, though).
This is the first time that:
1) The bowl came smelling heavily of plastic --
(unlike all the other Stasher bags I've purchased before, and unlike the two large standup bags that were also included in this order); think plastic storage box smell, but more alike one you'd have in the garage than use in your kitchen;
2) It's been impossible to get rid of that smell --
I've washed the bowl with regular liquid dishsoap and warm water like I did with the two new standup bags, and like I regularly do with all the Stasher bags we use. The terrible smell has remained the same after four (4) washings. Mind, I've let the bowl soak in in warm water and dishsoap for a few hours before also using a silicone bottle brush, rinsed it thoroughly, let it dry overnight. The smell remains terrible, and you can feel it from a few feet away. Can't imagine using it for food or keep in the kitchen. not the type of smell that fades away.
3) The bowl feels different to the touch than any of the other Stasher bowls and bags we own. It's a bit more rigid, less "bendy", as if it's made from a different material than the other bowls and bags.
I've ordered directly from https://www.stasherbag.com. The bowl and two standup bags were…

Hey Stasher, your stuff is great, but how about making one big enough for a loaf of bread?

This is not the only one I ordered in this order but the page doesn't let me get to the others. Doesn't matter because I love them all. I am REALLY happy to have food storage to freeze which is NOT plastic. Most recently I've made applesauce with home grown apples. I didn't have time to can the applesauce as I normally do but with it frozen in Stacers, we'll have applesauce throughout the winter after all. You've conceived of a wonderful product, a dream come true for me, a long-time fruit tree grower. Elizabeth

I have bought the other Stasher containers, they flop over. I use these to store all the sweet potatoes I bake for the kids/dogs food. I store them whole. I can fit a lot in these. They stand up in the fridge, can stay open and upright when open, are so easy to clean and then dry (first upside down and then upright). They then can fit inside each other for storage. If I had to do it over again, I would only buy these shapes and forget the others. To dry the other regular stashers, I need to place them upside down on a silicon spoon or wooden spoon and prop them against the wall. These bowls I just invert and wait. SOO much easier.
